A New Hope

Thank goodness for sunshine, we all feel better when spring is here, I know I do, anyway. As I stand gazing from my office window across to the neighbour’s blossoming magnolia tree, I feel full of hope that the worst is behind us. I’m not naïve enough to think that the suffering is over though. The news says that the crisis in India is very real and getting worse by the day. I have my second jab tomorrow and I am so grateful. Will our brilliant vaccination program stop us from a brutal third wave? I hope so. It seems like gratitude and hope are all we have, so today I’m focusing on that.
